Earlier this year, I volunteered to talk about Android Wear at the DroidCon Montreal conference and was accepted. I had a good deal of fun at the conference, met some of my Android Developer Crushes, and nervously delivered my very first
technical talk at an actual conference.

The talk was about beginning to develop for Android Wear such as how to get started, connecting a device, and developing an app. I talked about augmenting notifications in an existing Android Phone app to add some wear features. Then I talked about sending data to and from the device, first with the Google APIs for Wear, and finally with the Courier library by Denley Bihari.

During the talk I had rigged up an Android Wear app that was connected to my Keynote slides using a modified version of kaas and a small Android app that I wrote for the talk.
